Molecular architecture of membrane microdomains in MRSA; exploring their role in antibiotic resistance.

We invite applications for postdoctoral positions (5 years) in the Molecular Infection Biology laboratory at the CNB (Madrid, Spain).

Our laboratory focuses on molecular microbiology applied to infections. The open positions are funded by our ERC Advanced grant CLAMP, which focuses on characterizing the functional membrane microdomains (FMM) of the multidrug-resistant human pathogen MRSA and their role in regulating antibiotic resistance. We seek to attract motivated investigators with outstanding qualifications and expertise. Applicants should have a strong background in molecular microbiology or structural biology, such as single-particle cryo-EM or cryo-electron tomography.
